What is Real Estate Pre-Licensing?
Real Estate Pre-Licensing is the prerequisite education required to be completed to get a Pennsylvania real estate license.
People who wish to get a Pennsylvania Real Estate Salesperson License must be at least 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and successfully complete 75 hours of pre-licensing education. The 75 hours of Real Estate Salesperson Pre-Licensing education is made of up two classes:
Real Estate Fundamentals
Real Estate Fundamentals is a 30-hour course that reviews basic terminology, principles, and laws that govern a real estate business.
Real Estate Practice
Real Estate Practice is a 45-hour course that provides an understanding of the ethical guidelines, basic procedures, regular practices, techniques, and ancillary real estate services.
Students must complete both course exams and maintain an attendance rate of 80% to graduate from the program and receive their education transcripts. To learn more about our preferred real estate school, visit the Real Estate Business Academy.
In-Class Courses
CENTURY 21 Home Advisors firmly believes that taking the education in-class can be extraordinarily helpful when it's time to take the State and National licensing exams. Often instructors will relate real life industry experiences to the content they review which helps improve comprehension of the material.
The class content is mandated by the State of Pennsylvania but the delivery of the information is what can make a huge impact on the start of a new career in real estate
Our preferred real estate school in Lancaster, PA is the Real Estate Business Academy. They offer the State-required classes to get your real estate license and are conveniently located at 28 b East Roseville Road, Lancaster, PA 17601. Classes are held on Monday's, Tuesday's and Thursday's from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
In-Class Tuition
The Real Estate Business Academy provides the Real Estate Fundamentals course and the Real Estate Practice course. They also provide the option to purchase the required textbook for both classes. The in-class tuition cost, including the textbook, is outlined below.
